I'm new to this site and started looking for people in my area, say around 50 km max distance and I clearly stated I'm interested in getting to know women between 43 and 57 from an area around Valencia, Spain.
All OK, but soon I receive "matches"...young ladies ( 22, 23 years old) from all over the world with clear intentions...ONS and please send me an email so I can send you more pictures....etc...some pictures are very explicit..
At the same time I got in touch with some very nice lady, around 55 from Eastern Europe....
Does this website really check what I am interested in or is it just a place where young scammers and prostitutes can freely roam the web and target men??
I have signed up for 3 months but I'm very disappointed and will not react to any "match" I receive.

Are you sure you know the difference between actual "Matches" and unsolicited emails? There are plenty of scammers working overtime to get accounts here, and once they do they blanket active profiles with messages. They are very easy to spot and remove. Report when you can, although sometimes the link for reporting doesn't appear (strange).
