I have a few choices...

Fly out early and head back to New Hampshire (the best choice)

Go with my roommate to Orlando and either stay with her or invite myself to stay with KitKat until it passes, then fly out of Orlando on the 7th.

Or stay with my sister and ride it out

I'm talking to the management team today and the HR Director about leaving this weekend before it gets here. It just might work out better that way anyways because I think Vermont wants me to get there sooner. I can change my flight plan with only having to pay the difference in fares, no penalties.

If it hits and does as much or close to the damage Irma did, I'm pretty much stuck here until whenever things get back to running again. We were without power for two weeks in most places, some places longer.

But getting out early is the best option. Hanging around here, even if they don't evacuate is counterproductive because it will be bad weather during my vacation time.

Still up in the air as far as the hurricane. I'll be staying here at the resort unless we end up evacuating.

Fortunately we have plenty of kayaks if we're under water
