Did your sister have fun Josh? yeah, she had a ball....drinking age in france is 14 so she got a little drunk and our mom allowed it because it was a once in a lifetime oppurtunity and she wasn't there to stop her anyway...she ate something with eyes....lol....3 whole months of speaking nothing but french....no english allowed...the french girl she hosted a couple years ago is actually inviting her back and her parents are willing to pay for it...so my parents said if they'll pay for it she can go again....if that doesn't happen her friend is coming here... |

Sounds like she definately did have fun. I have been to a foreign country. I was a foreign exchange student at 13/14 for 3 months in Russia. It was a wonderful experience and we did get to use some english but not alot.
Its good that your sis has an opportunity to go back or her friend to come see her here in the states. |

they e-mail each other and talk on msn all the time....just to keep practicing or whatever you wanna call it....my sister talks in french and her friend replies in english

I've been to France before.
Though my french is pretty crappy now. My dad's a french teacher. I want to go to Japan ^^ |
