And...well, the music simply rocked. How many of todays superstars will still be around and well known in 20 or 30 years?

It was great! How about Halloween and home made popcorn balls and goodies and no one even thought of xraying the "haul"? It was a time of charming innocence. The best music ever!! There's still great music being made today! Who would've thought The Rolling Stones would have lived through it all, while 2 beloved Beatles died? Yes, John, they crucified you, after all. Love was all we needed. Warm fuzzy memories. It started to change when JFK was assasinated. I had a lovely childhood and teenage years. The town "special police" chaperoned dances at the high school every saturday night and boys danced too!! We had parents that cared and ran a teen center for us on weekends and special days once the high school dances ended. Battle of the Bands. Good stuff!! Small town, good people.

There are still 2 drive- in movie theaters around my area. one is in Strausburg Oh. and the other one is in Barberton Oh...Both of them are about 25 miles apart and are on the same road...Old route 21. Ya can take your own munchies or buy from their concession stands, the food is good and not too expensive. The one in Strausburg has the BEST damn footlong coneys and cheese nachos...Sheeeet, i can`t wait till summertime again.
