I'm getting messages from real men here today. They are coming out of the woodwork!
Before all I got was a few now and then. None of Interest.

I try to reply to them because I like to be curtious. However, I am on another dating site that is working much better for me. Fortunately, I am communicating with a nice gentleman now.

Men are seeking dates after Holidays.

I wish real men would come out of the woodwork for me. All i get are scammers and liers and everything else. and im stuck with this website cuz i cant pay for any other websites.

Sorry Alicia there are Scammers here and many. Set your Filters that may help in Messages you receive.

I get Older men messaging me. So it hasn't been a big problem.

Scammers all day, every day.....

I think I have gotten 2 messages from *real* guys since I have been on here..
(the members that frequent these Forums who i have exchanged messages with don't count..they're not interested in meeeting/ dating me..)

I'd message real guys too...IF there were any that are within 100 miles of me, have a filled-out profile, and have been on here some time within the past week or two..

Most that are within 100 miles of me haven't been online in "over a month"...

The men that message me for a date are not on the Forums.

They come and go on here Ike flies . Men oftentimes like Private messaging.

They live way more than 100 miles from me .

Alicia just hang in there. There are a lot of really nice people on here. You can monitor the forum (pretty safe in here). You just need to be cautious of some of the people messaging you. Filters don't necessarily work on filtering out the fake accounts if they are setting up profiles in your area. After a little while you will be able to tell who is real. You can always block and or report to the admin any suspicious profiles.

All the scammers who have messaged me are from over 500 miles away...every last one of them..(TX, NY, CA, WA..etc..)
With the exception of one guy last week...he *claimed* to be from here locally..but he turned out to be a scammer too...

I message lots of guys on other sites...this guy for instance..
He is 52 miles from me...
He replied to my initial message with this:
"Great potential, but XXXXXXXX (my location) is pretty far from me. Good hunting."

52 Miles is too far?
Alrighty then....

If I can't get someone from 52 miles away who himself said "great potential" to chat....why even bother writing someone several hundred miles away?

Many men won't Travel to a lady . That's why it takes me long time to meet online Men who will. I t's possible, because I have done it before.
Depends on the man and Site you meet on.

I live in a small City so it's slim pickings in my age group who are actually Single older men.

I'm one of the people who said that today (I guess the first Sunday of the new year) is the most popular day for online dating for those looking for a relationship. That's according to the news. It's not happening for me, but that's okay.

I'm getting some messages but it's the usual spam and people who only talk for one day and then disappear.
