i'm actually not a John Lennon fan but i do like the song Imagine,i have it on cd

i agree hippie just think of all the lyrics we have been cheated out of.

and jt, lennon has alot of other music that ya need to pass thro your ears.

not gettin down on ya but the man did put out a lot of great music.
one of my favourite alblums is shaved fish. if ya get a chance to listen to it ya may just want to add it to your collection.

That song could not be MORE about communism! If you do not realize this you need to look up the definition of communism.

No possessions: everyone owns everything collectively. That is one of the basics of communism.

Also, if everyone lived just for today, it wouldn't take but a couple years before all the food supply was gone because no one was storing up for the future. Because, if you live only for today and aren't thinking about tomorrow then why would you ever plant any crops?

Furthermore, if there is no Heaven, then life is not worth living.

And in the immortal words of Forrest Gump "That's all I got to say about that."

I'm a big fan of John's. Someone like he is and was taking the time to share every part of his life with us. He shared his pain and his blessings. He shared his search and wasn't fearful about letting us see changes that he went through as he went through them. Not many have that kind of courage.

John was and is a multi-layered person who set out to learn and be taught. From start to finish you can see so many twist and turns in his life, but the one thing you always saw was John himself.

For those who want to know more about John take a look into the 5th Beatles "Billy Preston". It's so easy to label, but sometimes a little harder to look at the soul, meaning, and ones independent search.
