i have a major earache and i have tried everything fro tylenol to aleve to exedrin to generic pain relievers i have even tried earache ear drops and that is not helping at all any suggestions on what i should do.

I know your going to think this is a little wierd ! But seriously I had earaches all the time going up and one thing is : get someone who smokes to blow lightly in your ear after they take a drag. the smoke will make whatevers inflammed shrink! Do it about ten times! Seriously you'll notice a difference within minutes!

Try some sweet oil. You can get it in the pharmacy. Put some on a cotton ball or a q-tip and rub in your ear as far as you can. Usually you feel better by the next day.

Try applying some heat...
heating pad, or light bulb in an oatmeal box held up to your ear, or warm to hot cloth compress over ear. (Just don't burn yourself with any of these ideas). Hope your feeling better soon dear.  I used to get earaches from hell. |

This gonna sound ****ING CRAZY, but what you do is get small pieces of garlic. What garlic? Yes garlic, put some oil on a pan and let the garlic cook for a lil bit. Soak up all the oil off the garlic with like a paper towel and put the garlic in your ear. Call me crazy if you want, but if you try it, you gonna tell yourself, wow that ****er was right. This does work.....

I'd be seeing a doc soon..it could be something that will only get worse.....

you need to see a doctor
i suffer with my ears a lot, and ive had many abcesses that have burst in my ear, and have scarred my ear drum, or you could have a ear infection. so see your doctor |

and using ear drops or any oils, if you have a infection will make it worse.
|
|
|

Get to a doc if you can.
Also, this one sounds strange, but it worked on my boy. Take your blowdryer on the warm setting and direct it towards your ear. It might help ease some of the pain. Feel better! |

I DID GO SEE THE DOCTOR AND HE TOLD ME I HAD A BAD EAR INFECTION AND HE GAVE ME TWO PERSCRIPTONS TO MAKE IT BETTER.

It should START to feel better in about 24 hours...HOPEFULLY.
