No, the manager is back today. And the regular prep lady, so it's back to the dining room. Just as well, opening and prep was a nightmare yesterday. Getting anyone to help is difficult to do. Two people didn't show up, they seem to be allowed to work when they want and take off when they want.

Very good thing. I would not want to be in charge here. There's one lady that's my age who was friendly to me when I got here, but because I won't join in on her talking poorly about two of the other staff members and I'm friendly to them, and get them to help more... she started acting different with me, she was supposed to show me what to do when I opened and when I asked, she was very condescending and I ended up asking someone else.

I'm staying clear of food service in my next job. Both food service and housekeeping has more gossip and bs than any department I've ever worked for... I walk away and don't get involved in that crap.
