573 @River I wanted to work today, having no other plans anyway, but I couldn't figure out transportation given the holiday schedules. Figured, it's better than doing nothing, especially if it means people with family or plans don't have to come in. |

That sucks Action, maybe watch movies or mingle. I'd almost rather do nothing than to work at night... especially since they put me in the dish room "again" with a bunch of 20 year olds who don't know what good music is.

I hate to say it, but it's more like Happy Stressgiving... The last few paychecks didn't have any Fed or State Income tax taken out because I'm not going to owe any taxes this year. Then this week - when I need the money for the car, food, and cable bill - they decide to not only take out the income taxes, but to take 40% of my overtime pay. Makes me wonder why I bother working the overtime... |
