I think real love is when you have at least SOME common interests. You are anxious to see each other and do things together, but if circumstances keep you apart, you don't cheat with another person. You find other ways to occupy your time. AND you trust the person you love not to cheat on you. That way, when you get to be together again, you don't start out arguing. You also actually enjoy doing things to make the other person happy. And that does NOT take lots of money. It can be a bouquet of wildflowers, a walk into the sunset, paying for a new battery to make his/her watch keep time again, or cooking a favorite dish. Love takes some work, but it's pleasant work that pays dividends in happiness. And by the way, it's not perfect nor always easy.
