He's ok. the shock is wearing off........hes very sad, as to be expected. Trying to hold it together

Yep, I was just talkin to him on yahoo... he feels lost, that's to be expected... and like he should be doin something

I feel so badly for him, wish there was something I could do

I'm headed to bed, but wanted to post this, I hope folks who need to hear it, listen....

Lori Ann's passing got me thinkin about so many things tonight.

So many of us caught up in our own little world of wants, needs, desires. So many whining about their place and condition in life and doing little to change their circumstances, reach their goals, achieve their dreams.

So many folks living with regrets, sorrow and guilt.

So many stuck in the same old rut of despair and desperation.

Now is the time folks to get busy living, contribute to the human condition, make and be the changes you want to see in your life, in your environment, in this world.

If you've got regrets, guilt, hatred filling your heart, let them go, they are poison and keeping you stuck right where you are, preventing you from achieving all you can be, giving all you are capable of giving.

If there is someone who needs to hear I'm sorry, I forgive you, or I love you, now's the time to do it, tomorrow may never come.

Anyone who passes into your life does so for a reason, though you or they may never know just why, they deserve the best from you.

Remember before you post in the forums, write an e-mail or send an IM, there are living breathing souls receiving your words, each with battles you may never know, weigh your words, your actions with that thought it mind.

As I've seen it written so many places, but never appreciated more than tonight...This is it folks, this is not a dress rehearsal.

Robbi, what an awesome post you are so right. We are only here for a little while. We need to share a kind word and a smile to as many other people as we can.

I wish I had been able to meet Lori in person,she had such an awesome attitude and never complained about not feeling well. She will be greatly missed.

Sorry Pam, I made a impersonal post.

I was feeling the lost of you guys friend & touched by the poem.
The reality of lilbug's post.

I like your poem too Ruth. Very engaging and so true. We just lost a dear woman as well, one of my best friends' mom. She truly was an angel & never stopped giving to others.

It was wonderful at her memorial service to hear all these people share about her life. And her affect on them. She was 95!

It's a bit easier to deal with when you know they've lived such a long life, because face it, we will all go someday. But when someone goes younger, like Lori, that is hard.

I too wish I'd known her better. But if Ruth says I would love her I know that's true.

Robin thanks for your sentiments as well ... we DO get to make a mark. God gave us that incredible gift. To BE to others .. to the world .. to mankind's situation.

I am sorry for the loss of your friend.......from what I have read she was a very special person, and will be greatly missed by those who knew her. Now you all have another guardian angel watching out for you, helping you through the day

I am glad that you all are now members of JSH, more friends who are great people is something we all need to deal with the ups and downs of life

The 'other' place.... well, I went there, specifically made a new profile to say good bye to LoriAnn, and I'll be darned if I didn't get sucked back in. I was to the point when I left there I was never returning. I saw so much bickering and pettiness in the forums it just became an unpleasant place to be. I know tho, there are folks there worth taking the time to get to know, and that is something I really need to work on. so, for now, I will remain there and here and see where it leads me.

I for one am glad to be here now!! I love my new 'home', but I must say... durning this time of loss.. the old 'home' is where I have been running to.

The other place ............ another dating site, where many of us got involved in the forums. A very tight community of people like on these forums.

I am no longer on there because their Admin got their little feelings hurt over a suggestion I made ........ ROFLMFAO. Ya...I am now banished from the kingdom forevaaaaaaaaaaah.

No great loss. Well there is for them, not for me.
