There's a storm raging within,
A million thoughts on my mind,
Yet I sit across from you,
Sipping coffee as if everything is fine..

I feel the darkness surrounding me,
Like the emotions I feel,
How do I control my dark thoughts,
They are now starting to give me a guilt..

If only you knew,
The thoughts that race in my mind,
As soon as I see you each day,
Would you accept them with an open heart,
Or just stand up and walk away..

My voice is lost,
The words don't form,
I keep quiet,
And my desire,
Is now slowly turning into,
A lifeless stone..

You look at me with a smile,
In complete denial,
Why are you testing my patience,
We talk nonstop,
Each time we meet in person,
..But have you ever heard my silence..
