Topic: Maybe a stupid question. Anybody living off grid.

I know my dear friends lives in remote area totally off grid.
Solar powers, Diesel generator,Boar water, water filter system.
Hand washing cloths,small esky for fridge, most valuable items are two pets.
and each other happy couple.
