How do you feel about Christmastime. Are you enjoying it or not and why.

I pesonally don't like this time, We have 365 days in one year and only on this day everybody should be my friend and I am suposed to be peacefull to everybody on earth. So what about the other 364 days.
Well, honestly I have my problems with this kind of thinking. Everybody can be my friend 365 days a year ans I'm peacefull to everybody troughout the whole year.
Taht's the first point, my second point is the commercializing of all this, it has to cost money, most of the people are pushing other people, maybe unknown, to spend more money on it. This two points make me sad.
On the other hand I like to celebrate Christmaseve under a Christmastree with my familie and friends.

So what you getting me?

yeah it has gotten way out of hand and what the true menaing of Christmas is all about...this year we didn't go all out on spending...I think it will be better in the long run. Just want to hang with family and watch some football-yeah!!!!

I like the music this time of year.

What it means for me... Hmmm.. Midnight Mass, getting together with my friends for a really good meal, and great conversation.
Which is going to be breakfast, cuz the few of us that are Catholic have talked the rest into going to mass with us. Nobody is exchanging gifts, cuz that's not what it's about for us. It also means to me that I need to be a better Christian.

Yes, I know what you mean about the Commercialism, it kind of ruins things, It smudges what Christmas is all about.

Still Its nice to see people make an effort to come together and enjoy each others company.

This Christmas we are only doing stockings up, except for the little ones in the families. A lot of good food, good companiship, mixture of family and friends........that will be Christmas for us this year. Things just got to out of control with the spending and buying........Most gifts will be homemade gifts.........gifts from the heart

That's the way it should be Snuggles-we sometimes play dirty Santa or draw names to keep things at a descent spending for all!!!!!

We've all decided to go easy on christmas this year too.
I'm just thrilled that it's my turn (and not my ex's ) to be with the four kids at my daughter's during the actual holiday. That's what's going to make my day special. Don't care if I get one single gift.

WEll said elwood: It's time for us to look within and see how we can be a better christian. That's what it means to me also. Cuz for me and other christians: "JESUS IS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON"!!!

I so love Christmas
I come from a very large family and we all get together on the weekend before and decorate the family tree that my grandparent always decorated and go out singing caroles to the neighbors and just celebrate.
The neighbors all look forward to us walking down the street carrying our candles,laughing,singing and just enjoying ourselves.
