I met 5 from Mingle, all of them friendship meetings. Three of them are still very dear friends of mine.

I summarily and categorically deny,
having ever met anyone.

I get up to 10 messages a day. I respond to 2. Or sometimes none. Depends on my scam alert meter. Lol

If I turn the age filter off/down I'll get 20 or 30 daily, of course they're almost all 20 something scammers
With the age filter set on a realistic minimum I only get a "real" msg maybe every other day but don't forget I live where there's a very small population.
My profile pic is me and it's from last Oct, so pretty current.
Some women think I'm handsome esp for 63, I'm sure there's plenty more that think..............ick!
But I do communicate well, respectfully and can form a complete sentence

On another free site, I attended one of their annual get-together in Florida and met about 80 members. One I fell in love with and we were engaged but it wasn't meant to be because at our age people die.. he died.

On a paid site, I had met three wonderful gentlemen for coffee at Tim Horton. One at a time of course lol. The first gentleman said I was incredible twice during the first five minutes.. I felt incredible, who wouldn't. Sadly, our sense of humour was not on the same page. So no second date. The second one looked like he was going to burst out of joy LOL too much Red Bull perhaps. The third one looked like he had another meeting lined up. He said he was meeting his grandson. Perhaps.. but that was off putting... to me. sayonara
