Topic: Looking for serious relationship g/f | |

Yes, it is possible, but it requires more effort than most are willing to put forth. Even then, there are no guarantees. There are many ladies on here that I sincerely hope will find a man worthy of them. And make no mistake -- a number of those ladies would chase down a man who had demonstrated and proved his value to them BEFORE the first email.
But everyone is different. One of the most condemning criteria is distance. That's largely what makes the process so difficult. There are other factors, but distance consistently appears to be the first deal breaker. Running into that obstacle means more patience and effort is required. Put those forth, and you might get surprised. This all said, it's very possible that your match just isn't here. People come and go. Many deactivate after varying periods of time. But if you give up too soon -- or even take a break -- you may miss out on a new member who is your perfect match. Just like in the real world, you generally don't find The One in just 1, 2, or even 5 years. It takes time and effort. But it happens in the real world for most people, right? Mingle2 is no different. |

I guess a relationship can be found on here. I guess it's dependent on how willing you are to find one. You've got to be careful though not to fall in the wrong hands. Trust me that hurts. |

I want my soulmate.....soulmate where are you? I have been waiting in what seems like forever..... I hope you do find a nice man. That said, I think internet dating really works best for people that "look good on paper". That is people who can really craft a good bio. Also, they are photogenic to some extent. They understand the principles of photography and have the knack of taking alluring pictures of themselves. They are good at writing an interesting bio that piques peoples interest; a bio that invites a response. Most men and women are reticent to really talk about themselves to complete strangers. Furthermore, body language, which is a huge component of communication, is completely missing from online encounters. Most folks need some kind of body language cue in order for the conversation to continue. |

I am attracted to twinkle in his eye, a fast and frequent silly grin and a personality that melds beautifully with my own. These things are the foundation to a good relationship....these things take time.

Most folks need some kind of body language cue in order for the conversation to continue. Isn't that the truth! There is nothing like pulling teeth to try and force a conversation out of someone online! It's frustrating and exhausting and if I have to work that hard and the guy is at home with plenty of time to think about what to say before hitting send, it would be mad torture if we were sitting across from each other in person! |
