Personally I believe it is ok to smoke pot. As long as you don't let it control your life. You've got to set your priorities, work, school, family, etc. must come first.

bad boy, no pot 4 you, LOL

I personally think it should be controlled like alcohol is. There should definitely be no pot while driving.

Some people do let it control them my brother for example.
He will only work part time jobs or when he feels like it, mainly because he's a lazy sh*t. Once in a while is ok I guess, i've kinda outgrown it myself, but love to smell it too. My brother is 48 btw, that should tell you something, he's smoked all his life. smokin smokin smokin

another thing to point out.

no smoke of any kind that you breathe in can be good for your lungs.

Most definitely. It's fine so long as you can get away with it and it does not control your life.

It can become a dependent thing and there would be no problems if it wasn't illegal

But drugs can be very sneaky and start to control your life and then you lose your choice.

i dont smoke it however. i disagree with the government for making it illegal, after all cigarettes are legal yet, they contain so many chemicals. But then again provide tons of funding to the governmentgrumble ... Weed is grown in the ground and is all natural... yet is illegal.

If money wasnt such a motivator.

On the opposite stand point.

"obey the laws of the land" - from the bible.

I believe that most things are ok in moderation. People get too wrapped up in what's right or wrong. If you are A.not hurting, or potentially hurting anybody, and B.not becoming addicted then do whatever you want. It's our right to pursue happiness after all.

"No matter what we do, or how clean we live our lives, we're not gonna survive this" - Kurt Cobain

A little morbid but the general message is true. Just as long as you remember the key to life is moderation.

Okay, how do you know the day before you become addicted?

I'm actually quite outraged by the fact that it still hasn't been legalized in all states. denver, co as well as most of california and a few other states have decriminalized it to a certain extent but not completely.

When my generation is running the government is when I think we'll see some real change happen. Until then, I'll be blazin in the comfort of my own home away from the eyes of the man.

But to be more on topic... psh it's your own choice what you do. If you don't smoke weed, then you don't smoke weed but it's juvinile and rediculous to hold it against people that do choose to enjoy one of god's(the universe's) best gifts to man... and i don't even believe in god what am i doing in this forum?!

now i wanna blaze. and i got nothin but empty zip locks :(

well addiction is all in the intentions, wether you believe it or not. When the intentions are impure allows for the addiction to come in.

well since we are close in age ill say our genertaion. When the government becomes populated with our generation is gonna be a sad day in american life. So many kids that take education for granted, and how "famous" politics are getting. The best looking and most influencial people are gonna make it to the top! AS well weed will not be legal utill a successuful tax can be put on it...

laugh i have a pretty good point to legalize weed if anyone wants to here it, it has to do with prohibition

Kalamazoo, Have you ever met an addict that liked being an addict?

They did not intend to become addicts. They wouldn't wish it on their worse enemy.

Scientifically, marijuana does not create physical dependence or long-term health effects. There have been zero cases of fatal-effects in marijuana, and it can be used for pharmaucuetical purposes. A drug that has never killed is illegal, yet alcohol kills everyday. Add a little knowledge to your diet.
