No it wasn't, lol. Especially on these roads and sidewalks, they are all uneven and slanted. Much better now.

I got a pair of New Balance sneakers, and two pair of casual/dress that will go with either a casual dress or shorts. The casual ones are from Propel... Mary Janes. My left foot is extra wide because of a bunion, so it makes it difficult to find shoes. I bought a size bigger in the past to compensate, but they messed my feet up even more. Feeling good about my purchase.

They are comfy and I walked a couple miles in them without having to just about crawl back, so I am happy. And practical. One black pair, one tan pair... goes with just about everything.
