Topic: The naked Mannequin | |

The naked Mannequin stared in silent desperation
A human window, for all the world to see They crawled from out the shadows Armed, with a make believe decree Tear stained eyes of a clown On deaf ears fell your plea A sweet life stolen For an occasional front page story We craved our pound of flesh A prisoner of empathy Hounded beyond your grave While all along Hope was what you gave The baying crowd of hunters Cameras are their guns Every click a bullet Every flash a painful wound, as hurtful as it comes We have our pound of flesh |
