Once upon a time - one day I was alone (as usual) bushwalking in a national park near adelaide SA, in stealth mode, meaning wearing partly or fully camouflage clothes and walking slowly and quietly, watching where I put my feet, and not reeking of modern human smells - aftershave, deoderant, food, petrol, etc.
No not being Rambo or the predator!
Walking far off the trails where puffing joggers wear bright clothes and shout at each other while stomping along scaring everything for miles.

I was weaving around and between trees and bushes trying not to alert or scare off all the animals like most walkers do. Although the birds are natures alarm bells and they can alert the other animals sometimes no matter what you do.

I emerged from between two prickle bushes on to a grassy clearing, and about 20 feet away two kangaroos opposite each other were heads down munching on grass. They both looked up at me at the same time, and took a leap forward to get away quickly, as the wild ones do. They collided with each other in mid air and tumbled down tangled together, both got up, looked at each other, and then looked at me, and we all were quite amused, I could tell they were.
Instead of taking off in full flight as usual, they casually bounded away, probably a bit embarrassed, stopped a bit further away, and looked back at me; I hadn't moved but I was laughing quietly. Then they slinked away, probably hoping that no other kangaroos saw their undignified tumbles. laugh
