I'm single because..... I'm picky... I'm quiet around people I don't know.... and I don't go anywhere to meet people that I would be interested in.... that probably sums it up!

Me thinks that the internet is a fine way to meet people when you don't have the go out to meet people opportunity. That's how I found my ex from Ohio, and we're still friends.

Lol, I don't really think you should change your preference so much anyway. Can someone really be happy in a relationship if they're settling for less? Unless you have ridiculously high standards o.O But from what you described before it doesn't seem that bad.
