other than suddenly retreating to january weather pretty good. i just scored a new high end washer for the house dirt cheap and all it needs is a good cleaning and a $30 part that is on the waybigsmile

no it's a clothes washer for the house. mine died followed 4 loads later by the free replacement

They are to technical now. more controls and settings than the space shuttle and all you want to do is wash clothing huh

yeah but 10 gallons instead of 50 gallons of water per wash is well worth it with the new high efficiency washers

we lived in a barn and had one of them wringer washers. i can't tell you how many blood blisters i got from getting my fingers caught in the wringer rollerssad

We had the up market one with rubber rollers, talk of the street we were, talk of the street laugh
I'm guessing yours had wooden rollers?
Why did we as kids think it ok to put our fingers in it when it would squash a blanket to a quarter of an inch rofl

yep wooden rollers but they were motorized not hand cranked. i just couldn't untangle my hands quick enoughgrumble laugh
