I usually just ignore them and delete them, haven't responded to anyone I don't know already in a long time.

That's a good idea. That's part of the problem I have with responding to them. It's like encouraging them. But weeding them out through messaging is fine. I need to start reporting them again. Haven't done that in a while either. The same ones just keep coming back.
