I'm Canadian and even I wouldn't vote for Hillary.

Dragoness, these things about Hillary are not new. Not just pre-election 'slime' being slung.

So far I don't see any good candidates. I've ruled out Guiliani, Obama, Clinton and probably Romney.

How come people on here decide whether or not something's legit solely on the fact that they like or dislike the viewpoint?

I've seen things I didn't agree with--but they were backed up by fact. I might not like what I saw or read, but it was proven true.

I'm not saying Hillary's any worse than someone like Rudy Guiliani--chances are, they're rolling around in the same pile of dog s***.

I'm curious as to your reasoning for ruling each of them out.

I personally don't care for Giuliani (Reducing crime in NYC and walking around the streets after 9/11, while good things, don't qualify you for the Presidency, he has no diplomatic skills whatsoever), Hillary (no qualifications either beyond being First Lady), or Romney (If you thought Kerry was a flip-flopper, this guy takes it to the nth degree),

I think Obama has the potential to be the best President of the bunch. He has the persuasiveness and charisma you need to lead the Free World, which Bush sorely lacked. This current President has weakened our status in the World, and that has hurt us here at home economically. Whether we like it or not, we need the international arena in our favor just as much as they need us. Sure, Obama may lack some experience, but he certainly has more than our current President did when he took office, whose only Foreign Affairs experience was signing Sammy Sosa to a contract.

Anyone who knows me on here knows I have no love for Bush. But, in my opinion, Hillary would just be more or less "politics as usual". In other words, just like Bush.

And you're right, Boredinaz, most people would react different if it was about Bush. Not me, tho. I think Bush and Hillary are two of the rotten apples stinking up the applecart.

Great thread, by the way, sir.

noway Don't get me started on baby shrub. He single handedly has taken a once great country and has tried to flush it down the toilet. Just to watch him speak his planned and prepped speeches of which he still manages to fumble them is enough to drive any American of any decency to want to drink in fear of the apocolypse baby shrub is decending upon Americanoway
