Didn't one of the old girls in one of those stories get preggers way past her prime, even when she said 'no way it'll never happen', and 'god' said yes you will, and she did !

If it's OK in that religious fantasy world, why not now ?

Apart from the obvious bit of getting very sick and useless, or dying before the child is able to fend for themselves. Then family, and society (socialism) can help, in the same way as orphanages do, (hopefully much better nowadays, with less paedophiles in the institutions).
