A hug and kiss. (But I do love diamonds. Have loved jewelry since I was a little girl and played in my grandma's jewelry.) Nothing better than window shopping at a jewelry store!

......OR, I would accept an honest, faithful, kind, genuine, loyal, best friend, attentive lover, hardworking, outgoing, funny, generous, giving, appreciative soulmate................that or the jewels. ( Both would be OPTIMAL)

jewelry does not matter.
I NEVER buy the girls I date jewelry unless it's a long term relationship and I feel like getting her something nice to wear.
Getting a woman jewelry USUALLY hurts your wallet and hurts your chances with getting any further with her. If you get her jewelry early on, she will begin to see you as a PROVIDER and have your value be almost completely dependent on the resources you provide, and not from who you are. She won't even see you as a sexual being.
This is just a common scenario.

Unless she is your mistress and you are paying her way, I would think a diamond or expensive piece of jewelry should be for the wife to be or wifey. I would not expect a man I am dating to do that. Especially since I pretty much make him pay to take me out anyway. We only go dutch if it is previously agreed to, otherwise it is his job to pay for the evening.bigsmile

I dont care about diamonds.
Give me something that shows you put thought into it...
a mixtape with my favorite music, a book about a subject that interests me, a picture of the sunset that we watched together.
That would last forever for me.
