Topic: What is the nicest thing someone told you today?

It makes me wonder if when we were younger and would of married instead of going our separate ways would we still be married today. We have remained very close friends all these years. We both told each other that our ex's were not right for each other and we were right. We have been there to support each other when things fell apart. Just really blown away right now. Both of my daughters were married at 22-23, to their first serious boyfriend. I feel good about my younger daughter, but the older one may have some trouble. My controlling SIL.

years ago when I worked at the Veterans Hospital, one morning I met a co-worker in the hall. She said HI and I replied "wish I was". hmmmm - got called "on the carpet" later and thankfully personnel understood that was flippant and not true. Never said it again cuz I needed my paycheck. BTW, my boss was a straight/laced boring lady.

It wasn't today, it was on Saturday. The instructor at the gym where I take my boxing for fitness classes, while I was hitting the heavy bag, shouted, "That's the way, *****topher! Look at that power!" Even though he was only stroking my ego, I'll take it.
