you're watching the movie and it's pretty good and scary and you are lost in it and even forgot you are watching a movie and then out pops a phoney looking computer generated monster and just destroys the whole ambiance

is this a disrepect to the audience to expect the viewers to believe that the creature is real

is there a movie you know that was pretty good but the creature was pretty bad

The Lady in the Water

I was warned not to watch this movie but since I'm into researching science lore myths and legends that is why I had to see what this movie was about

lady in the water is probably the only movie made for people that like to listen to people whisper so I had to keep turning the sound up to hear what the heck they were saying and would doze off until the music played loud and I had to turn down the volume

the movie was so boring but I watched it anyway just to look at the half nude wood nymph everyone was trying to help and then lord and behold a phoney looking computer generated creature pops up in the form of a phoney looking grass werewolf or something ...even the grass looked phoney

then at the end of the movie some phoney looking tree men showed up and did patty cake on the grass wolf, ... man what a big disappointment, I was so dumb founded that the next day I just mowed my lawn in the hopes that phoney looking grass werewolf or M. Night Shyamalan was hiding in it someplace so that I could run the lawn mower over both of those rat bastards

It wasnt computer generated but in Jeepers Creepers, when you see what he looks like with wings and everything.. I thought he looked so ridiculous. I thought the movie was pretty good until then.

anaconda. i love that movie but the snake looks ridiculous.

I also liked "Anaconda" and usually end up watching it everytime it comes on but the snake does take you out of the movie ..imagination plus watching almost every national geographic progam about giant anacondas makes it tolerable ..but the movies "Anaconda" and "Anaconda Blood Orchid" is clearly on the list of phoney looking computer generated sons of a mother

Grendal ..

the movie Grendal on the sci-fi channel and his pal baywatch or is that Beowolf ..even though the effects in the movie sucked the atmosphere made it watchable ..and then lord and behold phoney looking computer generated son of a mother Grendal shows up and then I couldn't take it serious anymore, especially when the King was boo hoo-ing and sob sob-bing and trying to justify why he sought fit to sacrifice the village little brats to Grendal, all through the movie I was thinking the King should stop crying rally his warriors and instead of killing Grendal should instead kill the person that created that phony looking computer generated son of a mother

Species

ahhhh "Species"... the movie started off good because the special effects people resorted to building the props by hand and they look disgusting realistic even the Kung-Fu like flashbacks the creature kept having everytime it wanted to mate and those cool special effects made it all the way to the end of the movie and then out of nowhere that stone fox Natasha Henstridge turns into a phony looking computer generated son of a mother.... also the tongue of that little kid that sucked up that rat and ate it kind of sucked of computer generation ..swines

that muffets in Star Wars movies just sucked especially those ewoks, it was like playtime at sesame street and what was the deal with yoda as a muffet he was like a raving lunatic jumping on luke's back screaming and acting certifiable .well that's the funny thing about suppose alien-life that may in fact look like fake muffets

Jaws 3-D

well at least Jaws1 and Jaws2 were spared from this category because they took the time to built the sharks from earthly materials but now when I think about it I'm not sure Jaws 3-D applies because maybe they just cut out a picture of a shark from a child's coloring book and blue screened it

but even through the movie sucked I still watched it because the phony looking shark did eat people and the shark was in 3-D and that was the gimmick they used to get you to watch this movie on television, in order to view it in 3-D you needed 3-D glasses, but believe it or not I had a pair of 3-D glasses from long ago when they tried to pull that same trick on television with The Creature from the Black Lagoon in 3-D fake-a-vision

so like an idiot I sat in front of the television on greasy food and beer night with those stupid 3-D glasses on seeing everything red in one eye and everything blue in the other eye looking at a phony looking shark that clearly had rigamortis, apparently the 3-D glasses only worked after I swilled down a number of beers

but the weirdest thing was that my mind was more occupied with the 3-D glasses I was wearing then the fake looking shark, for some odd reason the manufactures decided to place a large cut out of an American Indian sporting a full feather headdress wearing 3-D glasses on those 3-D glasses I was wearing and to this day I'm still wondering what was the point of that ...an American Indian wearing 3-D glasses eating popcorn?...WTF?

Change the subject kind of what's the best computer generated monster?

I think the grendel of Beuwolf looked horrorific. The best looking monster in the movie was the one based on Angelina Jolie.

FrankenFish

the movie began in the serenity of the Louisiana bayou or maybe it was some other algae polluted hell hole, anyway the movie started off very interesting and pretty amusing

a guy in a dugout boat was fishing using a float marker hooked to a crab trap but when he tried to grab the float something was under the water moving the float and started fishing for the guy that was fishing for it of course the guy fell into the water and was eaten.... talking about Karma

anyway in the midst of the movie when the human smorgasbord were line up and trapped on different house boats an arm throw from each other out pops a phony looking computer generate big old FrankenFish and preceded to pounce and munch on those house boat people one by one,

maybe FrankenFish wasn't really a phony looking computer generated son of a mother but only look that way because the house boat people was breathing in the fumes from the methane gas created by the sh_t composting in the bayou causing them to hallucinate and that FrankenFish was not a mutation but was actually just a big old hungry Catfish

King Kong

King Kong was a CGI movie that had one fatal flaw..they had the unmitigated gall to add real people ..after that mistake the film look like all the people in it was detoxing off an alcohol and marijuana hazing binge and everyone was suffering from the D.Ts,... the movie CGI mix with real people seems just like what would happen it dinosaurs and giant insects were attacking you or crawling over you while you were stuck somewhere between consciousness and R.E.M. sleep

even through the CGI in King Kong looked phony it would have made a good CGI movie or cartoon as long as there were no real people in it...in this movie the people was the phony looking creatures
