Why do some of us have to put up with so much pain in our lives? do we bring this on ourselves? is it punishment for the wrongs in our life? is it God testing us to see when our breaking point is? or is it because we chose it? Because we don't know when to leave? or is it because we just deserve it for some other reason?

These questions have hounded me over and over and over again. I don't know why i have to put up with so much pain in my life. I don't know why i chose to keep allowing it to happen. I don't know why i can't just break free when i so desperatly want to. Why is it that you fall in love with someone to such a point that you are almost willing to let them hurt you? your mind is telling you that you should not be allowing this to happen and that you should hate the person for the stuff they are doing, but everytime you look at that person you see their hurt as well and you just want to help them, no matter if they are hurting you or not. You don't want to feel this way but you can't help it. I don't know why but just rambling to a bunch of people i don't even know helps a little. Thanx for listening/reading. have a good night.

Think about if you never experienced pain, would you grow? WE learn from our mistakes, how not to act, how not to love, ect.

Without going through hard times how can you say you lived.

I think everything happens for a reason.... and whether you believe it or not.... whatever we go through it just makes us a stronger person and who we are in character..... Hang in there!!!

Pain comes in all shapes, sizes, and sorts...
We grow from the pain we exsperiance. I don't think we ask for
it- I just think it sort of happens. Sometimes- some of us do seem to have more than our fair share...
Hang in there... flowerforyou

Well Said!!.....I totally agree...without pain, we wouldn't appreciate...or grow emotionally...that in itself is the positive of experiencing "pain"...to some degree...

No disrespect or sarcasm meant here...but the American mentality is so narrow minded.

Just being in America you are already doing better than 75% of the rest of the world. pain? All depends on your definition.

I consider myself lucky I'm not a parent in a third world country having to watch my chidren die by starvation. or in places like Africa, where "death" is a dailty fact of life in many forms. or the ethnic cleansing that goes on around the world day after day..people being murdered in cold blood for no real reason except for hate.

I would rather be thankful for what a life I do have. Sure I have the same problems as most in this country..but I'm just very thankful I am even here! I have had my battles with health, but still healthy. have lost friends to cancer, car accidents, etc. But that is ALL LIFE! pain and death are all a part of it...but so is LIVING and HAPPY and JOYFUL!!! You take the bad with the good. LIVE life for what time you have here. No one is promised tomorrow, so LIVE WHILE YOU CAN! bigsmile

I hope you do better. happy

If you feel pain there is a lesson to be learned, if you do not learn it the first time the pain will come again. The only pain we have no control over is the pain of an illness, all other pain is a learning lesson life is giving us. If you are blaming others for your pain you will be stuck in the pain until you learn the lesson is for you. Good Luckflowerforyou

Life wouldn't be life without pain. How you react to pain and indifference and bad things throughout life will mold who you are. If you go through your whole life without pain then suddenly experience it you will be shocked and scared. I doubt anyone in this world has never been through pain whether it be emotional, physical, or stress induced pain. Pain makes us who are and defines our lives.

mmm marshmellow roasting... that sounds good
But that still involves me getting my lazybutt up and moving laugh

Bored with work... eh, might as well get paid and be bored at the same time. Unless you're not getting paid while you're working at home. Then I say just bored! lol

Pain means a lesson??? Got to disagree on that one! Sometimes maybe, but pain is just a part of life in general. (ut oh, I'm gettin sassy!)

What kind of lesson am I suppose to learn when I hear about a child being tortured in some country? I do not know the child, nor do I have any real connection, other than a caring heart that has pain just by hearing of this happening.

Pain comes in many forms. true some may have lessons, but others are simple facts of life with no attachments. Its like some people may say every child is a "gift from God". Well in a way yes, but in another no. God made this ability in the grand design, just like he did with most everything else. the ability to reproduce its own kind. Does that make a case of rape or incest that child a "gift from God"? I personally don't think so.

So when you look at things on a much deeper level, you can start to see more of the common tthreads in which all things were created. Just as mankind has the same common threads in us as the first people that ever walked the face of this earth. People are still the exact same. Only our surroundings have changed. Nothing man has ever made has reproduced itself, it only decays with time. So its all so very complex...yet in other ways so very simple. bigsmile

Are you confused yet??? I sure am!!! bigsmile
