No snow day for me either, we got some rain but that's it. My son's school district closes when they predict snow, they don't bother waiting for it to actually happen. More than once, we didn't get any Not that he complained any

OUr schools do a delay start, rarely do they close

You're above the mason dixon line, where snow is not a cause of panic in the streets. It was worse when I lived in Charleston, the whole city shut down (and I mean that literally). We got less than an inch

yup, it's pretty scary. I grew up in Detroit and learned to drive in the snow, moving south was definitely an eye-opener! I stay off the roads here when it snows, too many idiots who haven't got a clue.

Our schools rarely close also but it is pretty bad out there this morning 40+ mile an hour winds and alot of snow just don't mix well. Typically we get a 2 hr delay

It wouldnt be bad if when schools were on the delay that our jobs were on a delay also..........that would give the road crews a chance to clear the roads

that would work in the major cities. there really is not alot of people arround here. you could go out by the hwy here and sit all day and would be lucky too see 50 cars prob more like 25 cars that pass all day

Our schools close when it gets too cold, too We rarely got snow days growing up, mostly it was because of major ice. Otherwise, we bundled up and dealt with it. If we got to school late, so be it. Bye Pam, have fun.
