 Stinker 4 sure Even turns his back on me every time I get close  As 4 the soup, believe you me, it's HEAVEN ON EART A little more time and you'll win him over  Okay, I believe you about the soup.....care to share the recipe  *********************************************** Prety much ... Recipe for a 5 or 6-litre pot  Take the Whole shin and cut it in half ( Butchers will do it 4 you ) Alternatively, buy ready cut stakes like size "Osso Bucco" Must have the bone on it Wash the shin beef, and cook it on slow for 2 to 3 hours . Add an onion to the pot..Helps the water not to go cloudy  Clean frequently the froth from the top. About halfway of boiling, add some dehydrated stock of vegetable soup NOT that rubish taste like liquid stock from the supermarkets Otherways leave it without any stock if you don't have dehydrated powder stock. After about 2 hours add carrots, 1 or 2 enough, Parsnip or Sweedes 2 of each perfect. Continue to simmer till it's time to serve it. For the dumplings, the secret to get them soft is in the moisture and timing for the semolina to brake-up in the eggs ..EXPERIENCE & PRACTICE will get you have Perfect dunplings Alternatively, one can use real egg soup noodles Practice and Enjoy

I'm not sure I can get past the "chin" thing so I'll use bone in steak Actually I'm not sure I could get chins down here. I'll have to ask at the grocery store. We don't have butcher shops in the Upper Keys. I'll let you know when I try it.

Oh folks, I FORGOT TO SAY to take out the Whole bone, Meat, Onion, Parsnip, and Swedes....Use the meat boiled on his own yummmm.
If you leave all ingredients there no problem you will end-up with BONE BROTH & VEGIES SOUP

Pep I was studying it over like parsnips. Never heard of sweeds& Ossso Bosso ************************************** LOL..But you can get a beef shin I HOPE or Shin stakes with bone on it . OSSO BUCCO it is, NOT Osso Busso sorry for my spelling..I was writing in other language ...My bad

Not just me you too P. I know one thing that didn't help for the last 8. Your meats frozen mostly? Ya see the chin bone marrow is it. Like marrow soup.
