It beat me down- down to the ground...
The words were swords. The looks were knives. The lies were a noose around my neck. Look see the bruises. Feel the sting. Blood seeps from all the damage left. Beaten within an inch of life. I felt my soul fight back you see. I started feeling more like me. The baseball bat of life- can no longer beat me... I have become rubber you see. No longer can life beat the **** out of me.
