i sit and wait for you
in the rain, storm clouds brewing
thunder rolls in the distance
over the hills, I feel you laughing
temper stewing waiting for you
my heart on my sleeve taking chance
still waiting for you
raining harder,
I feel the lightning through my heart
my weakness is your strength
nothing do i have to gain
sitting here thinking,
wondering, if this is all a game
I am soaked now, to the bone
chilled and alone
clouds growing larger
droplets washing over me now
sitting in the rain...
sadness sweeping over me
darkness creeping in

I must drive fast through this rain tonight
