Well, adjhagena, perhaps that is part of why many of us are here. I think everyone likes to recieve, but many of us, when push comes to shove, will give and give and give until we allow ourselves to become pushovers. We lie down and become living doormats......all in the name of love. Ultimately we are used, abused, dumped, driven insane or reach the end of our rope and begin to fight back.

Like you guys, I am a Giver. And Lily, I have to agree with you with what you said. Thing is though, even if I get my heart broken again...I will always be a giver. It is just who I am. Matter of fact, I think it is one of the better qualities that I have. That all of us have. We give of ourselves. That is not a bad thing.
