Scoob have y'all thought about just having a backyard wedding and reception? It's relaxed, casual and can save you a ton of money. You can rent any big items, tent, tables, extra chairs, even a arch or gazebo for the ceremony. String up clear twinkle lights and mix enough artificial with real flowers and you've got a romantic setting anywhere we will need to bring in a pool for the waterside theme

Unfortunately our little bit of a yard that we have isn't big enough. We rent a Condominium for the time being.

I know, I know. I do appreciate the ideas. I understand the country thought ideas. I grew up on a farm, just I never got into farming.

what ever you and your lady love choose will be perfect I don't think weddings need to be big or fancy , just personal and a little fuss to celebrate your union with the one you love I've got a romantic side occasionally

Yeah, we don't want to do the big extravaganza. Small intimate ceremony with family members only. Just we would like to do it by a lake or large pond that doesn't have a crap ton of algae or just crappy/muddy looking water. I admit, I'm the one being kinda picky about this wedding stuff. It's my first and only time I'm going to marry. So I'm taking my time in this whole planning. But also trying to be very aware of my budget.

try looking at some of the local campgrounds and rv parks. around here we even have them that have little cottages on the grounds

Eric, I have been looking at campgrounds in the area also. Just haven't found the right atmosphere that we want.

Sounds nice. I know I really liked watching the fall color change when I had visited before when I was like 7. Might have to go back and visit again since it's been so long.
