I think it is a problem with both sexes. My thought is that it's a symptom of how materialistic and "me-driven" society has become over just the past few years. So many people out there are only concerned about self-gratification, and they don't care how they affect other people (Even their spouse/children/families/etc).

Yes geek, I never said that us men can't do things, but women certainly don't always get the credit and apperciation they deserve.

I agree, that man and woman work best together.

IMO, We are designed that way. Womans strength are mans wekanesses mans strength is womans weakness, but together (in marriage) they become one strong person.

To show apperciation for woman is not putting man down, it's simply acknowledgeing that women are magnificent

Just don't go and isolate yourself, beating yourself up isn't helping. Get around some good friends, maybe a pastor. You made a good step and realized it. Many men don't even do that.flowerforyou

I'm here and on other boards, I see quite a few posts extolling the virtues of woman, I have yet to see anyone ever talk about the good men out there.

Part of it is the generalization that bothers me. Not all women act in a manner that is deserving of appreciation, similar to not all men act in a way that is deserving of credit. Good people whether men or women should be applauded equally for navigating all the **** life throws at us and shrugging it off and doing the right things day after day.

I've heard the advice that when you're faced with a tough decision, and you don't know what to do, pick the hardest one cause 9 times out of 10 it's the right one. Doing the right things in life is tough so how bout a big KUDOS to all the PEOPLE who make the world a nicer place to be in.
