I love it playing with these ugly boldy chicks.
Once you start hand feeding them,
from 10 days old or sometimes earlier,
( If the mother leaves the nest ),
they are falling for you.
They think you are the mother.

No baits ever if they are getting to know
you as young as 10 days..
No problems when you play with them for training.

Wow, that's interesting, didn't know you start feeding them so young.
I know what you mean about them following you around like you're their mother though. I have the last bunch of kittens in my room and a couple weeks ago we got the mother cat fixed so she couldn't nurse them. Now it's just me and the kittens and every time I go in the room, they follow me and act like I'm their mother.

for some instant picture/s taking

Same with all the youngsters

In my case with birds, I can have them talking in 4 or 5 months.
These birds are exceptionally smart.
They can record up to 3000 words at maturity.
( Which is at about 2 years and after )

I will make sure to come back here when ready
