TANNING is like training them to behave, not to bait or panic screaming, and even talk. It's rewarding especially when you sell them A talking and behaved young parrot is worth double then a feral one I imagine that would take a lot of patience, but sounds pretty fun. How often do you get bit, or is it beaked? ************************************************* Sure ..Patience is my name and fun is my game ..lol I love it playing with these ugly boldy chicks. Once you start hand feeding them, from 10 days old or sometimes earlier, ( If the mother leaves the nest ), they are falling for you. They think you are the mother. No baits ever if they are getting to know you as young as 10 days.. No problems when you play with them for training. |

If you have time maybe you can post a picture when they are ready? Please warn me though, I'll make sure I have my glasses on or I'll just think it's just another naked chick picture **************************************************** Promise Mike. That may take 30 or 40 days or more. Depends on when she starts laying the eggs. At the moment they just kiss and play horsy ride LOL I will take a cell pic and post it. May be a bit darkish if I take it inside the nest, but my feelings are I will take over them earlier And you will not panic either. Here are the parents..The Yellow is male, the Blue is female. I have 2 aviaries ( One huge split in half =2 ) and a pair of them in each aviary ..LOL These ones are ready anytime now ..Yayyyy Sorry, pic is too big Make ..I SUGGEST to OPEN IT ON A NEW TAB. Right Click and select OPEN IN A NEW TAB Cheers |

The other pair is the same colours, just the Male is Blue and Female Yellow It's called REVERSE BREEDING YES, you may see them babies in a box with a warm blanket under and over them on my dining table. This year I hope to get the green and white back from their parents DNA. Wish me luck. See ya Mike, got to finish making an extra special breeding box. Got the plywood, just need to cut it and put it together. Will share with you a genuine Mediterranean Falafel Haifa style ( Da best ) when I'm done lol |

Good morning Mikey and Pepi
Pepi, your birds are beautiful. I look forward to see the young as well. I love it playing with these ugly boldy chicks.
Once you start hand feeding them, from 10 days old or sometimes earlier, ( If the mother leaves the nest ), they are falling for you. They think you are the mother. Wow, that's interesting, didn't know you start feeding them so young. I know what you mean about them following you around like you're their mother though. I have the last bunch of kittens in my room and a couple weeks ago we got the mother cat fixed so she couldn't nurse them. Now it's just me and the kittens and every time I go in the room, they follow me and act like I'm their mother. |

Good morning Mikey and Pepi Pepi, your birds are beautiful. I look forward to see the young as well. I love it playing with these ugly baldy chicks.

Now it's just me and the kittens and every time I go in the room, they follow me and act like I'm their mother. ********************************************** Howdy Moon Sure you will see them Pisces. I will make sure to have my phone with me when I get inside aviary and be ready for some instant picture/s taking Same with all the youngsters In my case with birds, I can have them talking in 4 or 5 months. These birds are exceptionally smart. They can record up to 3000 words at maturity. ( Which is at about 2 years and after ) I will make sure to come back here when ready and share the fun pics with you all. Cheers |
