My first and last topic, Im not here to flame anyone, because it would be hypocritical, however I am just curious your personal reasons for searching the web for love. Is it because of the area you live in,the amount of places to meet others is not readily available? Has finding love else where failed for you? Do you simply feel perhaps communication with potential "mates" is easier for you online? Are you just simply and introvert?, or maybe just plain old SHY?

My reason? Never tried it, dont really need to be here but I heard from a friend of a friend, and figured since its free F***k it why not?

My reason is pretty simple. I don;t do the bar/club scene and thats not really the type of woman i would be interested in anyway. and there is very limited else in this area where i live. So this is at least worth a shot. its better than no shot at all.

I don't do the bar scene either it's like qvc, shop at home lol.

ok I admit it I'm shy at face to face with an attractive lady but
getting to know someone on line and getting your points across without that nervousness helps.

Thats a good point as well. you get to show your character first, then your physical side. For men with women, that can be an advantage. Gives her a chance to really talk to the man and see past his exterior.

I am not that shy..no, that's not the reason.. However, I live in a pretty rural community where most men are related or have had babies with my relatives...It makes dating and meeting local guys iffy. Plus, the last guy that I actually went on a date with said this to me..and I quote..."Herion is really overrated!" Can you believe that? Guys up here are all druggies and cousins...so, JSH..here I am..
