I totally agree, but here is one for you. I join a sight where I ask just to see those with pics and found the pics are not them. One even pasted a face on a buff body, now what do you think about that one? Either way I think we all take chances either way.

thats true... i mean i guess you can never be sure.. my attitude is just .. if you are seriously planning on meeting up with that person.. they are gonna find out what you look like one day.. so you might as well get it outta the way early on so you don't fall for the person and then be like AHHHH you look like you're 99!!!

True that, however, if you get to know people through forums, and you talk to them for a while...well i think they are genuine...Most forum posters are. They also make up a small percentage of site members. I do not browse profiles, I will answer people with no pic, but i'm not likely to make first contact. All my online friends were met through forums, either here or elsewhere. They do have priority when it comes to emails. Also i like to post, so i don't spend a lot of time in mail. If it's someone i've exchanged pleasantries with in the forums, then yes, otherwise it depends on time.
