Ok, I just finished a Little Juan microwave burrito, with melted cheese and a side of guacamole. A real singles man dinner. the entire event took about 15 mins.
Ladies:Will you cook me dinner, and what will we enjoy?
Gentleman: Can you cook for the Ladies? And what can you prepare?

Cooking is one of the things that I love to do. It's been a while since I've had the pleasure of cooking for a lady friend, but this Thursday, I'm preparing a beef roast for the fellows with whom I play racquetball twice a week.

Cooking together is one of my favourite romantic activities, though. My ex used to be really cute about it. She didn't have a lot of experience, but she'd take to any task with her whole attention. I taught her how to ice a cake once. (The secret is to turn the cake underneath the knife.) She sat there, almost with her tongue hanging out the corner of her mouth, chanting to herself, "tuuuuurn cake" over while she did it.

well...had you been at my place this evening, you would have enjoyed tequila/lime chicken over herb & butter rice and baby carrots. OMG was THAT good...and I even have some leftover to take to school tomorrow for lunch!

I can grill anything.

Don't ask me to follow
a complicated recipe though.

Tonight I fried some wild salmon
with mixed veggies & rice on the side.

I mix the veggies with the rice
(sort of my speciality).

I once had one man tell another man "she is an awesome cook, there can be nothing but green yucky stuff in the fridge; and she can make a meal at of it." "And it will be good!" For real, that's what he said.

What would you like?

How bout some a home prepared chicken fried steak, tenderized sirloin breaded ,with pan made gravy of course. Scalloped potatoes, loaded with cream cheese and onion, butter and pepper with a little salt added. Kick it off with some broccoli, carrots, cauliflower, and some onion/bell peppers (preferably red and yellow with just a touch of green pepper). Make a sauce with butter and garlic, with a little rosemary and thyme and basil. A touch of salt and pepper.
Add to that a salad made with endive,Romane, baby spinach, tossed with shredded carrots, tomato's. and purple cabbage.
Top that with Hidden valley home prepared ranch dressing.(made with mayo, not sour cream) Or with a dressing made with mayonnaise, cream, garlic salt, and pepper. Shave some Parmesan cheese and voila'. and to drink...some unsweet tea filled with lots of ice, or whatever your heart desires.Mmmmmmm mmmmm mmmmmm...

My girls brought me Aladdin, Toy Story2 and The Lion King to watch during the week to cheer me up.

For the Ladies:
Marinated London Broil, yes with red and green peppers and onions
Twice baked potatoes or my special recipe rice your choice
Fresh broccoli or cauliflower steamed, but still crisp
Mocha Latte's for dessert
