I have your picture tucked away-
I take it out and secretly look;
It takes me back to a happier place,
A place that my fear and pride took.
Something so beautiful now so empty ,
Now I just live in the past.
I live in your eyes in that picture
And the reflection of love that they cast.

Your there beside me frozen in time
Forever and ever I'll pretend your still mine
Whenever I look at your picture

Im a shell of the woman I used to be
If I'd only known the things I know now-
The picture shows a much happier me;
I'd have done "whatever" to save us somehow.
Do you ever still think of us,
And wonder what we'd be today?
Or am I just a face in a picture?
Of a another life that we threw away..

A time in life no one can take from me,
