Adult ball pythons have been reported to go without food for over a year, so if your adult ball python has not eaten in a couple of months, but still looks healthy and isn't overly thin, try not to worry too much, as he or she will likely not starve any time soon.

What do you do if your snake won't eat?

If your ball still doesn't eat, try cutting the pre-killed prey open to expose the blood and entice your snake with the scent. Using long tongs, hemostats, or feeding forceps to dangle and wiggle the food in front of your snake can also be helpful, especially if your ball prefers eating live prey.

Found those answers on google.
Hope it helps.

Sorry snake lovers but I've spent a large part of my years where we have rattle snakes* so my first reaction to snakes is to look for a long handled shovel!
I had a small ranch where I lived for 8 years in Nebraska's Wildcat Hills (google that or Scottsbluff National Monument) in that 8 years the average was I killed 45 snakes per summer. Including 3 that found their way from outside to under the kitchen sink. I also raised German Shepherds, smart dogs and they got bit several times.
I'm sure this won't be a popular response to this topic but snakes......NO!

* These would be Prairie Rattlers BTW

ragin' cajun, has your snake eaten yet? There are lots of reasons it would not eat, including size & type of food (as you experimented with), environmental conditions, habitat factors, and more.
I've rescued lots of snakes and had successes and failures.
