hahahaha... i think how much you write is TOTALLY up to you... whatever you feel best displays who you are as a person.. some people can do it quickly in 5 words.. and others it takes 10 paragraphs... its just part of showing other people who you are

Then I guess I'm showing people that I'm long-winded (and love parenthesis!)

PS: How did this become an age debate? Let Missfabulous be! God, when did men start hating 18 year old girls? Is this Bizarro world?

i've been through a lot more
in my life than most "younger"
people have, which has caused
me to grow up a lot, i just
take a lot of offense to state-
ments about not being "mature"
and that kind of stuff.

no one can put you down if you don't let them and
as your friends here we won't let them either. be
you 18 or 75, let the dissers diss all over themselves!!

noway Why in the world would you think we don't like 18 year olds??? This is a great site. Much like a giant family.
A home away fron home here... flowerforyou

the emails i get, and the comments
that are made towards me aren't the
nicest. i mean, everybody told me
when i signed up everybody would
be sooo nice, but, they really
haven't been to me.

i don't understand why,
i'm nice to EVERYONE.

but yet, i get put down a LOT
about being so young.

it's like, just because i'm 18,
people think i don't have a brain,
or feelings, or anything that
somebody older would.

and then they say i'm immature,
when they're putting ME down.
anybody who calls me immature,
knows NOTHING about me.

i've been through a lot more
in my life than most "younger"
people have, which has caused

Don't let them get you down. You are mature You're a nice person. Ignore the cretins Who put you down. Enjoy your time here and post in forums regularly. When I was 18 I hated the way I was treated too so I try not to talk down to the younger members I treat them as equals. Because I've met some people who are 18-25 who are mature beyond their years and i've met people who are 35 plus who have the maturity of a 9 year old. So don't give up ok.

I guess it depends. If the picture is a posed one of say a person in the bathroom in front of the mirror, then I wouldn't care for it. Just gives the impression they are too into themselves and that's all they are about. Don't get me wrong, if you work to stay in shape that's cool, but it's not everything. If you are hanging with your friends at the pool/beach then it's alright.

I think I'd be interested more if I saw less (initially). It also tells me that someone might be looking for sleazy encounters instead of something more substantial. Of course, if it's a beach picture, a shirt and tie would look incredibly stupid! LOL

Doh... I admit, sometimes I am hypnotized by that sexy man in the mirror (closest I come to being gay) but have you ever tried to take a picture of yourself WITHOUT a mirror? I have, it's hard. And it's not like I flex for them or anything, since I take them to see what my tone is like at a resting state.

Besides, if I had a girl to take pictures of me (not about to ask my guy friends to do it), I wouldn't be here!

Ah well, I guess I will take em back down in a while. I really do appreciate the input though, and I wasn't expecting nearly this many people to respond bigsmile

You are young, ties the reason you respond in the way that you are.
You feel like because we older ones have a different way, that we are attacking or putting you down. That's not it darlin. Age does something to us all. Experience...does something to us all.
The people on here will be here for you, as long as you are nice and caring. You seem to be both. As well as cute as hell.
Most on here will respond in a way that they deem reasonable and helpful to you. Most are parents themselves. What do you expect from them? You are 18 honey. You are going to have plenty of parental guidance here. flowerforyou

I remember being young once. I loved seeing anything I could see on a guy. No shirt, pants, barefooted. I was just excited by the sight of a guy in his natural beauty.
But, it has changed for me. When I see a guy without his shirt or shirtless and pants hanging a little too low. I think to myself, hmmmmmmm, whats he selling?
Don't get me wrong; I love to look at a mans behind though. Walk in front of me honey. Dressed of course.

But, for me...I would much rather see a man dressed and for his profile. It is like that first impression date, you know? Let me see the good later.
Gawd...wish I was 18 again. laugh laugh

The trick is, you just have to tell yourself:

"Hey, that's just some random D-bag on the internet, why should I care what they think"

Thats what I do. But then again I may not be the best role-model. bigsmile
