wow you are a really strong person and i admire that you posted that message. its something i think a lot of people needed to hear. i think so many people get in abusive relationships and are blind to it.. but i think we always need to keep the possibility in our minds that it CAN happen to us

There needs to be more help ou there for people like that! I know and this angers me!

CASA (Citizens Against Spousal Abuse) is a terrific place for women (and sometimes men) to find help. They are in most cities and can be a way out of an abusive relationship.

I am sorry for your loss Jill

When ever police are calledx to attend a domestic disturbacne theere have been times when after the abusive husband/boyfriend is arrested the victim will assault the police members when she see her man going to jail. Also the victim many times will refuse to file charges because her abuser keeps on saying he will never do it again but guess what he does. Here in Canada once assault charges are laid they will go forward regardless if the victim wants them too or not. If the victim cooperates with the crown then great easier to obtain a conviction. But if she doesn't more difficult for the crown to prove its case.

Your friend children and family are in my prayers be strong.
