I'm not sure what you are asking. Both words have alternate very different meanings in this context.

Pursuit can refer to going after someone, or it can refer to dedicating oneself to a pastime.

Persuasion can refer to trying to convince someone to commit (or to do everything BUT commit), or it can refer to what you believe in, how you find purpose or profit in your life.

I am DEFINITELY not about to try to PERSUADE anyone to like me. It's a tremendously important aspect of relating to a mate that I am adamant about, due to my very negative experiences with trying to go the other way. And similarly, I am never going to PURSUE someone as a mate, for the same reasons.

hello Igor always a pleasure to see your comments. what i meant was that it is hard to pursue another person in real life and then when one is able to keep up with them it is also hard to persuade them in to staying. so now as it happens here on line its double the effort because of the issue of whos real and who is not. i know to persuade and to pursue are two very different things. sometimes there are people who find the other easier. men in pursuit in particularly are scary at times lol
