I find order being superfluous as emotional connection is what matters not who is first second and/or ostensibly last After all, the average person in USA is now married 3 times so order seems less than viable whereas emotional content is preferred.

It's difficult to parse that out exactly. WHY would I be the last love that lasts? I've had a couple of relationships where I was portrayed as the villain of the story, and in the mind of those women, my role lasted a very long time.

I don't especially want to be a LOST love, even if I am remembered positively. As for "first loves," it depends what you mean. Most "first loves" are really fantasies and later, they are self-learning experiences, more than they are true love.

I guess that deep down, I think of real love, as being sort of forever, whether the people are compatible or not, and can stay together or not, and that's why I resist thinking that love which goes away (first loves) is at all enticing.

thing is what we don't usually forget is our first and last. the things in between kinda fleets away how anyone wants to be remembered is different for each person. the first love that didn't last can either be a special memory or a bad memory you cannot forget. the last love is what everyone longs for... but if i can control fate then a first and last love is truly what id go for.

Sometimes the first love has the whole heart , one can never replace a true first love, snatches and memoirs still go out towards the first love... but I think the last love would be a better choice.
