Would it be acceptable for a government to temporarily close down a social media site? In the event of a terrorist attack would you be comfortable letting them 'switch it off 'even just for a few hours so the terrorists can't communicate ? Possibly mobile phone networks to in the same situation? The idea would prevent terrorists ability to communicate it would also prevent witnesses and victims to communicate and because of that, it's a terrible idea Mikey

Yes, I see that it would also stop the public /victims communicating with the authorities giving them vital information! |
