If I VPN (using RSA) into my network on my day off, so I can create a new VLAN and configure 48 gig-e ports on a Cisco 6509 for the new iSCSI SAN connections make me a nerd? OR should I take this kind of talk over to the sex and dating forum? 
Why do you need a day off to do this? LOL
Yeah double dog dare you to take it to Sex & Dating... Just don't see them getting hot over internal networking, chassis, fans or storage. Advertise free condoms and give them a link and you might get 'a few' hits LOL
And um.... don't forget your pocket protector... and over there... you might need knee pads....

to whoever it was who said she was lookin for a guy 2 play dnd with: couldnt people play dnd by IM? anyway my dream is to find a gal who plays magic the gathering! Haha I remember doing online RPG games in chat rooms, not DND, but I guess a variation? AND I play magic! Only not very well lol, I pretend to have strategy but it's mostly luck I'm sure. |

Dude, let me tell you from experience. Women LOVE nerds! Once they get treated like crap by all those "Manly Men" ppffffttt.... Then they come looking for the nerds. Besides, nerds are usually more successful, more interesting, and more entertaining. Trust me, I am 100% N.E.R.D. From the RPG's to the D&D.

Well we[society] use labels to classify, generalize, scrutinize people foods, races etc..... Its just a form of organization. Unfortunately some labels get worse reviews than others and negative stereotypes get associated to them. You see a bunch of people walk into a cathoilic church and you say well there is a bunch of catholic people going to church...generalized label. You see people holding up signs and marching... you think "protesters"... My comment Thanks to PEOPLE like you....... was just that... random and generalized. Who knew it would spark interest, forcing me to reply...willingly... to get this thread pushed to page 11 LOL
