trying to get into the holiday mood, cant quite seem to get there...in the middle of putting up Christmas decor and cant get into the groove....any suggestions?

Play some Christmas music and dance around while decorating-
if that does'nt make you smile... at least you'll get some exercise!

Read some of those cards from last year. Think of those dear to you, who you will see in a few weeks. Sing and dance with yourself! |

Christmas music generally helps me, don't out on one of those sad ones though, make it uplifting. I hope it helps you....

I was putting up xmas stuff at work today...and to get everyone in the mood..we made hot chocolate ( it's 32 degrees here) put on xmas music and put a xmas dvd in the player...it worked..we had a good time!

part of it is that i have no family here...my daughter has to work and cant come down, blah blah lol its just tough when you are alone to get into it...ok...im dont whining lol xoxoxo

Put glitter on all the cobwebs. It really livens up the old dungeon. It confuses the spiders, too which can be fun.

Awww...yes..Christmas music and burn some candles that smell like cinnamon or pine or egg nog or sugar cookies. That always helps.

I don't even want to think about being alone this year for xmas..the first time in 7 years that I won't have someone to spend xmas with. :(
