anyone else think that holidays are just depressing days that we have to endure in life that make us sad.

Nah, I don't put much stock in holidays. Mostly they're just another day that we all decide to do some very strange things on.
I mean, just imagine if you put on a mask and went door to door asking for candy in june? |

 It seems like holidays makes us all think about our growing up, and past holidays. So when someone dies and are no longer HERE, WE ALL miss them at THAT TIME, a little more.. So sad or blue, will hit us easier then..  And being ALONE, is more FELT, because of SEEING so many couples and families TOGETHER in movies, out shopping, and out eating...Then we see THEM, and WISH we shared THEIR HAPPY!

yea i have family but no significut other to hold or talk to .
i dont really have a person like i used to have to talk to about life an such that i trust anymore they are all gone to now . thanks for understanding . I dont wish or want to think about these things just cant erase them lol wish i could but they will always be there during this time of year is when it is the worst the rest of the yr is not so bad . |

Yes they can be -- my family lives in Arizona (I'm in New York). So I do the next best thing -- I spend the holidays with close friends and it makes a difference.

I HATE the holidays!!!!!! alwasy bring me down.. But I'm glad others enjoy them! Its JUST these ones that bug me.. after Christmas.. I'm good again.. LOL!
Soo to get rid of some of the holiday tension.. we're hitting the bar tomorrow night!!!! Time to blow off some steam! Who's with me on that one! LOL! |
